Plasma Plate Cutting
In 2007 MasterWorks expanded its capabilities with the purchase and installation of a high definition plasma table. The ALLtra CNC gantry cutting machine is designed for cutting complex shapes from sheet or plate materials. Materials commonly cut on the machine include steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
The plasma table can currently handle up to 12’ X 8’ sheets. A 3600 square foot warehouse was added in 2009 to allow for increased stocking of various thicknesses and types of plate material.
ProNest - Advanced Nesting Software
Maximum plate utilization is extremely important in the plate cutting industry. MasterWorks utilizes ProNest to help keep product costs and material waste down while increasing overall productivity.
